Q: What inspired you to join the CGH Succulents team?
A: “I have been in the plant industry for 7+ years. I started working with shrubs and perennials at a previous company and made my way here. Becoming part of California Greenhouses was a challenge at first—I was new to interior plants and succulents but excited to learn!”

Q: How has your role evolved since you started working here?
A: “I started working here as a cashier 7 years ago. I have taken on many roles since then, including purchasing accessories, managing inventory, and most recently handling Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable.”

Q: What’s one of your favorite memories from your time at California Greenhouses?
A: “Working with Sandy. She took me under her wing and taught me everything I know. I learned a lot from her and we all miss her here.”

Q: Do you have a favorite succulent or plant? If so, why is it your favorite?
A: “Gardenia is my favorite plant. It has a very aromatic smell that I love!”

Q: Have you worked on any personal plant projects inspired by CGH?
A: “During the spring, I like to plant chilis—they make for some good salsa!”

Q: If you could describe CGH in three words, what would they be?
A: “Family, Hardworking, Resilient.”

Q: What’s your favorite thing about working with plants every day?
A: “Coming into work and walking into the greenhouse is a peaceful experience. The aroma, the vibrant colors, and the interaction with customers and coworkers make it truly special. I feel blessed to be a part of California Greenhouses.”
