Founded by his parents, Mark and Carol Stansbury, in 1973, OC Succulents started as a small venture. At first, it only sold indoor plants from the back of a van in Orange County. Their dedication and love for greenery led to the opening of their first wholesale location in Newport Beach in 1980. The location eventually grew into the thriving business we know today.
With four flourishing locations across Southern California—each offering a unique selection of house plants, cacti, and succulents—OC Succulents has become a go-to destination for plant lovers. As we prepare to open a new location in Whittier, Chris reflects on what sets them apart: an unrivaled variety of quality plants and a knowledgeable team ready to assist with all your plant needs.
